Project Background

Yuhang District has numerous mountainous streams, with short source rivers and rapid flow. Under conditions of intensive rainfall over short periods, these waterways are highly prone to triggering flash floods, mudslides, and landslides, posing a serious threat to the safety of life and property.
Project Solution

The real-time monitoring system includes water and rainfall conditions, soil moisture content, and geological disasters. By developing small watershed flood forecasting models and inundation analysis models, could the arrangements for pre-disaster, during disaster, and post-disaster be layouted more effectively.
Project Outcomes

The Small Watershed Real-time Monitoring System provides decision-making basis for hazard identification, scenario simulation, risk assessment, and emergency rescue, and is capable of guiding evacuation for disaster prevention and emergency command.
