Geological Disasters Universal Monitoring and Early Warning Project In Daocheng
Project Background

In 2021, to enhance geological hazard monitoring and early warning capabilities and establish a disaster prevention and mitigation system, Decheng launched a universal geological hazard monitoring and early warning project.
Project Solution

By integrating AI, IoT, and RS technologies, a real-time monitoring system for hidden disaster points was established. Utilizing models to categorize hazardous regions based on risk levels, the system provides geological hazard risk assessments and real-time early warnings.
Project Outcomes

Since the system was established, data availability and quality have significantly exceeded industry averages and are superior to those of typical geological disaster monitoring projects in plateau regions. The Ganzi Prefecture government will use this project as a model to develop a comprehensive disaster database with the aim of reducing casualties and property losses caused by geological disasters.
