“Two Bridges and One Tunnel” Health Monitoring Project in Jinyun
Project Background

In order to grasp the operation status of bridges and tunnels in the urban area of Jinyun County and ensure their safe operation, various operation indicators of bridges and tunnels with obvious defects in the urban area are monitored and early warning is given in real time.
Project Solution

This project focuses on the structural safety monitoring of 2 bridges and 1 tunnel in Jinyun County. The tunnel monitoring covers three items: longitudinal alignment monitoring, arch deformation monitoring, and road waterlogging monitoring. A total of 4 visual deformation devices, 32 stress-strain devices, and 2 buried level gauges will be put into use.
Project Outcomes

A bridge and tunnel safety operation and management platform is established to carry out graded early warning for bridge operation risks based on relevant information such as bridge scale, structure, type, and inspection reports. Corresponding preplans are set according to different warning levels to ensure the healthy operation of bridges and tunnels.
