From the operation and management of small and medium-sized reservoir water conservancy projects, Yuhang government identified several issues such as insufficient comprehensive perception capability, weak data governance capability, insufficient intelligent coordination, and the failure to form a closed-loop system between construction and management. These issues restrict the development of informatization in water conservancy projects.
This project focuses on the management needs of the Yuhang Districtwater conservancy system, taking 3 reservoirs, 39 mountain ponds, and 34 pumping/gate stations as example to build a comprehensive perception system, and to carry out the improvement of monitoring facilities for water conservancy projects in Yuhang District from multiple dimensions including monitoring perception, data resources, application support, and integrated applications, thereby driving the modernization of water conservancy project operation and management capabilities.

The project takes 39 reservoirs as demonstration sites, adhering to a low-cost and replicable construction approach. It employs devices such as visual deformation instruments, GNSS, and multifunctional monitoring systems, integrating non-contact monitoring and intelligent recognition technologies to address monitoring deficiencies.

The project enables real-time monitoring of reservoir safety conditions and controlled management of operational risks, effectively enhancing the intelligent management level of regional water conservancy projects.
