Project name
Smart Rural Drinking Water Project In Tonglu
-
Project Background
The rural water supply project in Tonglu County is still relatively weak in terms of informatization and automation. There are problems such as equipment operation relying on manual labor, insufficient water quality monitoring methods, lack of effective supervision by competent authorities, and lack of a unified and efficient platform for county-level management. There is a large gap between the project and the goal of achieving integrated urban and rural digital management, and a systematic digital reform and comprehensive improvement are urgently needed.
Based on 171 rural drinking water safety facility sites throughout Tonglu County, this project will construct a comprehensive management platform integrating control, management, and application through technologies such as the IoT, GIS, and big data. The aim is to build a complete online monitoring system for rural drinking water safety, realize the automated operation and standardized management of water supply projects, and achieve data connection with provincial and municipal platforms to ensure the drinking water safety of rural residents.

Project Solution
Based on the actual operational needs of rural drinking water management in Tonglu County, this project involves the categorized and intelligent transformation of 171 water supply stations throughout the county, establishing the "Tonglu County Clean Water Supply Urban-Rural Integrated Supervision Platform." The platform's core concept is "one center, one platform, one network, and one map," integrating cloud application services, video surveillance, terminal data collection, and software applications. It streamlines the entire data chain from source water monitoring, water treatment process control, water supply network supervision to user services, achieving automated information collection, remote operation and control, and scientific management decision-making.
