Project name
Slope Monitoring and Early Warning Project of Hangxinjing Expressway Connector Road
-
Project Background
Since excavation began in 2014, the high slope of the Qili Connector of the Hangxinjing Expressway has experienced multiple phases and locations of deformation and damage, including slope collapse, localized landslides, and mountain tensile cracking. In November 2015, a large-scale, essentially continuous, chair-shaped deformation crack appeared, posing a significant safety risk.
-
Project Solution
A total of 63 monitoring points were deployed within the monitoring area to monitor, diagnose, analyze, and report data on surface displacement, surface crack propagation, cut retaining wall crack propagation, surface tilt, cut retaining wall tilt, deep borehole displacement, water level, and rainfall.
-
Project Outcomes
The high and steep slope of the Qili Connector is considered a large slope in Zhejiang Province. Its automated monitoring system is comprehensive, technologically advanced, and highly representative of Zhejiang Province. Monitoring has been ongoing since December 2015, providing stable data output and effectively reducing remediation costs by approximately 50 million yuan, validating the effectiveness of the remediation measures.
